Randolph Park Roundball Classic Tournament

Welcome to the 4th Annual Randolph Park Roundball Classic! In 2016, the tournament raised over $600 for the courts which recently underwent a massive renovation.

Held on the The Courts at Randolph Park in Covington, Kentucky, the RPRC is an annual, single day, 3-on-3 men’s basketball tournament that aims to bridge the cultural and racial gaps in Covington, jump-start a conversation about how community members can work together to make a positive impact in the city, and raise money to maintain the park’s courts and host free youth basketball camps.

The 2017 tournament will be held on Sunday, September 10. Registration opens on Monday, June 5. The deadline to register is Friday, September 8.

FAQ

If my son is under the age of 18, can he register with my permission? Unfortunately, no. Our insurance policy does not cover adolescents.

Can I register my team the day of the event? No. The registration deadline is September 8, 2017. Teams will be organized into brackets the day before the tournament, so late registrants will not be accepted.

What happens if our team does not check-in before 10a the day of the tournament? All team members must be checked in by 10a. Teams that arrive after 10a will be disqualified.

What if it rains? The rain date for this year’s tournament is Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Where can I find the tournament rules? Many of the rules have been taken from the FIBA 3×3 rule book. Note: The rules may be revised from year-to-year.

What is the deadline to withdraw from the tournament? The deadline to withdraw from the tournament is September 8, 2017. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable.

We don’t have a fourth player. Can we register a team of three? Yes. Adding a fourth player to your roster is recommended, but not required. Please note, however, the entry fee is the same whether you register three players or four.

What is included in the price of the entry fee? Each player will receive a tournament t-shirt. Every team is guaranteed a minimum of two tournament games. The tournament champion will be awarded a monetary prize and their name will be engraved on the official tournament trophy.
